Dua Lipa, aka Dua English artist and singer. She was born on the 22nd of August 1995, in London United Kingdom. Dua Lipa signed to Warner Bros Records after a several years of hard work. She dropped her self-titled debut album in the year 2017. The album reached the top spot at No. 3 in the U.K. Charts. There were eight songs released such as Be the One I.D.G.A.F. and New Rules. In the United States it peaked as the 6th most popular album. Lipa received the Brit Awards in the year 2018 for British Female Solo Artist and British Breakthrough Act. Dua Lipa was born in London on the 22nd of August, 1995. She was born to Kosovo Albanian parents Anesa Rexha and Dukagjin Lipa. Through her maternal grandmother, she has Bosnian origin. Her ancestors can also be identified back to the Kosovo city of Peja. Two of Lipa's grandfathers were historians. There are two sisters, Rina as well as Gjin. Lipa was musically influenced by her father who is the principal guitarist and singer for the Kosovan group Oda. Her musical influences were derived from her father's music which featured his compositions as well as songs such David Bowie Bob Dylan Radiohead Stereophonics Stereophonics.
