Julia-roberts

Julia Fiona Roberts' parents are Walter Grady Roberts and Betty Lou Bredemus. Roberts is part of the fourth generation of Robertses to reside in the Atlanta region, beginning in the family of her grand-father John Pendleton Roberts a farmer. Her father took an early interest in theater. As studying of Emory University in 1952 he acted in productions on campus and elsewhere in Atlanta. In 1953, he joined the Air Force, and was stationed in Biloxi in Mississippi acted in a play with Betty Lou Bredemus. In 1955, they got married and, in 1956, their son Eric Anthony was born. Walter and his wife quit the Air Force in 1957 after which they began enrolment with Walter in Tulane University. In 1960, the family relocated to Decatur Georgia where Walter began working at Atlanta's Academy Theater and the Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio. Walter and Betty Lou financed their own production of a children's Sunday matinee show called Bum Bum and His Buddies. They established an Actors and Writers Workshop in the year 1964, and it was in operation for a period of 6 years. The couple also had two children, Lelisa Billingsley (1965) (also named Lisa) as well as Julia Billingsley (1967) (also known by the same name Julie).
