Julia-roberts

Julia Fiona Roberts was born in Atlanta on October 28 1967 as the daughter of Betty Lou Bredemus and Walter Grady Roberts. Her grandfather, her great-grandfather John Pendleton Roberts, a farmer who was also the first Roberts to arrive in Atlanta. Her father took the first interest to the theater. As a student of Emory University in 1952 he performed in shows on campus and in Atlanta. When he joined in 1953 the Air Force in Biloxi, he was seen together with Betty Lou Bredemus in Biloxi. The two married in 1955, and their first son Eric Anthony was born in 1956. Walter was a student at Tulane University at New Orleans In 1957, the city of Louisiana where the couple left the US Air Force. Walter was recruited to work for Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio to be a part of the production team for the television show Bum Bum His Buddies. The show was filmed in Decatur Georgia. Walter and Betty Lou began producing a children's TV show in Georgia, Decatur called Bum Bum and His Buddies. The production was funded by the couple themselves. The following year, they started the Actors and Writers Workshop which operated for six years. In 1965, they welcomed two children to the family: Lelisa Billingsley and Julia Billingsley.
